Charged! is an educational board game in which players (or teams of players) use tiles to assemble the formulas of ionic compounds. The tiles represent the most common metals and nonmetals found in ionic compounds. Formulas for the ionic compounds are played on the board in a crossword
fashion (in the style of Scrabble®). Players must then provide correct names for the compounds played. Points are awarded based on the number and types of tiles played as well as the complexity of the compound. New regions of the playing board may be opened up using one of the red tiles. The player or team with the most points at the end of the game wins.
